Butterfly valves, Tech Fly model, are shut-off devices that, through the relative movement and interference of the disc on the sealing seat, allow or prevent the passage of fluid.
TechFly valves, commonly known as TF, are available in wafer, lug and double flange execution and with body, disc and seat in different materials, such as GGG40 spheroidal cast iron, AISI 316 stainless steel, WCB carbon steel and bronze/aluminum.
On request it is possible to have the ATEX TF "Q" version that complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and can also be used in explosive environments. We recommend that you always check that the valve is compatible with the characteristics of the environment in which it will be used.

Why choose TF butterfly valves

TF butterfly valves are made with vulcanized seat on rigid support and with a reduced radius sealing profile. They are characterized by superior stability compared to traditional swallowtail valves as the anchoring of the rubber to the support eliminates any deformation and the risk of leakage along the shaft.
They are also suitable for operation with overlapping flanges that do not counteract laterally any deformation of the seat.
They are also easily replaceable.
